# Cancel your subscription

> How to cancel a paid plan and what happens to your data.

You can cancel a paid plan yourself from **Billing**.

## How to cancel

1. Open **Settings → Billing**.
2. Choose to cancel your subscription.

Cancelling stops future charges. Your account isn't deleted — it remains available on the free plan, so your settings and history are preserved. You can re-subscribe at any time to restore paid features.

> If a payment fails, the subscription may be cancelled automatically. You can re-subscribe from the billing page to pick back up.
