# Geo location & country tagging

iTracker360 can capture a lead's approximate location from their visit and write it to your CRM, and optionally tag contacts by country.

## What it captures

From a visitor's IP address, iTracker360 can determine an approximate **city, state, postal code, country, and timezone**. Location data is sourced from MaxMind for accuracy.

## What it writes

- **Location fields** — mapped into the address and timezone fields your CRM understands.
- **Country tags** *(optional)* — apply a tag based on the visitor's country, or flag visitors from particular regions, so you can segment and automate on location.

You control which of these run from your CRM's sync behaviors and geo settings. Location is an estimate based on IP, so treat it as a strong signal rather than a precise address.
