How long tracking is remembered
The tracking cookie’s lifetime and how to configure it.
iTracker360 remembers a visitor's attribution using a cookie (backed up in the browser's local storage so it survives normal cookie expiry).
Default and configuration
The cookie lasts one year by default. You can change this under Tracking → Cookie expiration to match how long your buying cycle runs.
Inspecting or clearing it
When testing, you may want to look like a brand-new visitor:
- The simplest way is an incognito / private window, which starts with no cookies.
- Or clear site data from your browser's developer tools (Application → Clear storage).
iTracker360's cookie is named with an iTracker360_ prefix, so it's easy to spot if you're inspecting cookies directly.
